Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of TRGS Application, including its account, subscription, offline storage, cloud synchronisation, reporting, and equipment-record functions.
Effective date: 21 July 2026
Last updated: 21 July 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By creating an account, purchasing or activating a subscription, signing in, or using TRGS, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, the End User License Agreement, and the published disclosures associated with the application.
If you use TRGS on behalf of a dive centre, liveaboard, training facility, company, or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on behalf of that organisation.
2. Intended Purpose
TRGS is intended to support the operational tracking and governance of scuba tanks, regulators, inspection dates, hydrostatic test dates, service dates, equipment status, location, movement, and related equipment records.
TRGS is an operational support tool. It does not itself inspect, certify, service, approve, or determine whether equipment is safe or legally compliant.
3. Permitted Use
TRGS may be used for lawful internal operational, administrative, maintenance, inspection-tracking, reporting, training, and equipment-governance purposes.
You must not use TRGS in a way that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, fraudulent, disruptive, or intended to compromise the application, its users, its cloud services, or its security controls.
4. Accounts and Authorised Access
An active account is required to use cloud-linked TRGS functions. The account holder or operating entity is responsible for ensuring that only authorised personnel access the account and the operational records stored under it.
Where an operation permits trusted staff to access the same operational account, the operation remains responsible for controlling access, protecting credentials, removing access when personnel leave or change roles, and monitoring the accuracy of changes made by authorised users.
You must not provide account access to unauthorised third parties or use another operation’s account without permission.
5. Subscription and Paid Access
TRGS subscriptions are offered through Google Play. Available subscription periods, prices, introductory offers, taxes, renewal terms, and local currency values are shown through Google Play at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through the relevant Google Play account before the renewal date. Subscription management, cancellation, payment processing, and applicable refund handling are managed through Google Play.
Downloading the application does not by itself create paid access. Creation of a new operational account requires an active TRGS subscription unless a separate authorised access arrangement applies.
6. Subscription Expiry or Cancellation
If a subscription expires, is cancelled, is refunded, or cannot be validated, access to some or all account, synchronisation, or application functions may be restricted.
Users remain responsible for exporting or preserving any operational records they require before access ends. Subscription cancellation does not automatically delete the account or associated cloud-linked data.
7. User-Entered Information
Users and operating entities are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, and continued maintenance of all records entered into TRGS.
TRGS does not independently confirm that tank numbers, serial numbers, barcodes, inspection dates, hydrostatic test dates, regulator-service dates, equipment locations, status fields, or notes are correct.
8. Offline Storage and Synchronisation
TRGS is designed for offline-first use. Records may be created or updated locally while internet access is unavailable.
Records created or changed offline are not available to other devices until they have been successfully synchronised. Users remain responsible for initiating or confirming synchronisation where required and for checking that important changes have reached the cloud-linked account.
Successfully synchronised records may be recoverable on another authorised device. Records that exist only on a lost, damaged, cleared, or removed device may not be recoverable.
9. Equipment Movement and Location Records
TRGS location and movement records depend on authorised users entering and synchronising accurate information. A displayed location reflects the latest successfully recorded and synchronised information and does not provide physical GPS tracking of equipment.
10. Reports and Exports
TRGS may allow authorised users to generate and export equipment records. Users are responsible for reviewing exports before relying on or sharing them.
Once an export is shared through email, messaging, cloud storage, or another external service, TRGS does not control the handling, retention, alteration, or further distribution of that file.
11. Operational Responsibility
The operator, owner, manager, technician, inspector, or other responsible person remains accountable for equipment condition, inspection intervals, servicing, quarantine decisions, operational readiness, legal compliance, and safety decisions.
TRGS must not be treated as the sole basis for a safety-critical, inspection, maintenance, legal, or operational decision.
12. Application Availability
TRGS may occasionally be unavailable or operate with reduced functionality because of internet failure, device failure, cloud-service interruption, maintenance, software defects, subscription status, updates, security controls, or other technical conditions.
No guarantee is made that TRGS will operate without interruption, delay, data conflict, device incompatibility, or error.
13. Updates and Compatibility
TRGS may issue updates, fixes, feature changes, security requirements, database changes, or compatibility requirements.
Continued access may require installation of a current application version, a supported Android version, an internet connection for account validation or synchronisation, and an active subscription.
14. Prohibited Conduct
You must not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, alter, bypass, interfere with, overload, copy, resell, sublicense, or obtain unauthorised access to TRGS, its account controls, subscription validation, cloud services, databases, or software logic, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
15. Suspension and Termination
Access may be restricted, suspended, or terminated where reasonably necessary because of subscription status, breach of these terms, suspected fraud, misuse, security risk, unauthorised access, technical maintenance, legal requirements, or protection of the application and its users.
16. Account Deletion
An authorised account holder may request deletion using the in-app deletion function where available or through the external
Delete Account
resource.
Account deletion is separate from subscription cancellation. Cancelling a Google Play subscription does not automatically delete the TRGS account or associated cloud-linked records.
17. Intellectual Property
TRGS, including its software, interface, structure, workflows, documentation, branding, written content, graphics, and associated materials, remains protected intellectual property except where third-party rights apply.
Use of TRGS provides a limited right to use the application. It does not transfer ownership of the application, source code, brand, or associated materials.
18. Third-Party Services
TRGS relies on third-party services including Google Play and Google Firebase. Those services operate under their own terms, policies, technical conditions, and availability.
TRGS is not responsible for a failure caused solely by a third-party platform, network, operating system, device, or service outside its reasonable control.
19. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TRGS is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, complete data recovery, fitness for a particular purpose, or compatibility with every device, workflow, jurisdiction, or operating environment.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TRGS and its owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, business-interruption, loss-of-profit, loss-of-opportunity, or loss-of-data damages arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the application.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
21. Changes to These Terms
These Terms of Use may be updated when TRGS changes its functions, subscription model, service providers, security controls, or operating requirements.
The current version will be published on this page with its effective date. Continued use after revised terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
