Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TRGS Application handles account information and operational equipment records when the application is used on Android devices and with its cloud-linked services.

Effective date: 21 July 2026
Last updated: 21 July 2026

1. Scope
This policy applies to TRGS Application, its account and synchronisation services, its public website, and support enquiries sent to TRGS. TRGS is intended for professional and operational use by dive centres, liveaboards, training facilities, technicians, managers, and related personnel.

2. Information Processed by TRGS
TRGS may process the email address used to create or access an account, authentication information required to maintain that account, subscription status information, support correspondence, and operational equipment records entered by authorised users.

Operational records may include tank or regulator identifiers, serial numbers, barcodes, gas information, inspection dates, hydrostatic test dates, service dates, equipment condition or status, location, movement records, notes, and other information entered by the operation.

3. Authentication Information
Account authentication is provided through Google Firebase services. TRGS does not display or store users' passwords in readable form. Authentication providers may process technical identifiers, authentication tokens, device information, and security records needed to provide and protect account access.

4. Local Device Storage and Offline Use
TRGS is designed for offline-first operation. Equipment records may be stored locally on an authorised Android device so the application can continue to function when internet access is unavailable or unreliable.

Locally stored records remain on the device until they are deleted through the application, the application's local data is cleared, or the application is removed. The operator remains responsible for control of authorised devices and locally stored information.

5. Cloud Synchronisation and Remote Storage
When synchronisation is used and an internet connection is available, account information and operational records may be transmitted to and stored through Google Firebase services, including cloud database services. Successfully synchronised records can then be accessed by authorised devices signed in to the same TRGS account.

Records created or changed while offline are not available to another device until the relevant data has been successfully synchronised.

6. How Information Is Used
Information is processed to create and secure accounts, provide offline and cloud-linked application functions, maintain subscription access, synchronise and recover operational records, provide exports requested by users, respond to support enquiries, prevent misuse, diagnose technical problems, and meet legal or financial obligations.

7. Google Play Subscriptions
TRGS subscriptions are purchased and managed through Google Play. Payment processing is handled by Google. TRGS does not receive or store full payment-card details. TRGS may receive subscription status, product information, purchase tokens, transaction references, or related information needed to confirm and manage application access.

8. Advertising, Analytics, and Sale of Data
TRGS does not display third-party advertising and does not sell account information or operational equipment records. TRGS does not use operational records for advertising profiling.

9. Sharing and Service Providers
Information may be processed by service providers required to operate TRGS, including Google Play and Google Firebase. Information may also be disclosed where required by law, necessary to protect users or the service, or needed to investigate fraud, misuse, or security incidents.

TRGS exports information only when an authorised user chooses to create or share an export. Once a user sends an exported file through email, messaging, cloud storage, or another external service, that service's own privacy terms apply.

10. Data Retention
Account and synchronised operational data may be retained while the account remains active and for a limited period afterwards where reasonably necessary for account recovery, security, dispute handling, legal compliance, or financial record keeping.

11. Account and Data Deletion
An authorised account holder may request deletion through the in-app deletion function where available or through the external Delete Account resource.

After account ownership is verified, the account and associated cloud-linked operational data will normally be deleted within 30 days, unless limited retention is required by law or is reasonably necessary to resolve a security, billing, fraud, or legal issue.

Deleting a cloud account does not automatically remove copies previously exported by users or local data remaining on devices that are no longer connected to the account. Those copies must be removed by the relevant operator or device holder.

12. Security
TRGS uses reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the service. No application, device, network, or cloud service can be guaranteed completely secure. Users and operating entities remain responsible for protecting account credentials, restricting device access, maintaining device security, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorised access.

13. International Processing
Google and other service providers may process information in countries where they or their service infrastructure operate. Their processing is governed by their own contractual and legal safeguards.

14. Children
TRGS is intended for professional operational use and is not directed to children.

15. Access, Correction, and Privacy Enquiries
Users may update operational records through the application. Requests concerning account information, correction, access, or deletion may be sent to the contact address below. Additional rights may apply under the law governing the person making the request.

16. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when TRGS changes its functions, service providers, subscription arrangements, or data-handling practices. The current version will be published on this page with its effective date.
